RICK CORDEIRO - Biography: Trademark: Antagonists, Villains, & Interesting Offbeats. Richard Cordeiro, (born: Eusebio Richard Cordeiro) moved to Toronto in 2008 from Hamilton, Ontario to pursue a full-time acting career. Since then, he has appeared in over 100 productions including film, TV, commercials, music videos, web series and public events. With a background in marketing, graphic arts and acting, Rick Cordeiro closely studied the way productions and film shoots were organized with an eye to one day becoming a producer and promoter of his own film projects. On June 13th, 2004, his first day on a film set, was selected out of 300 extras @ Lee's Palace in Toronto, to do a bar scene with Heather Locklear for the film, "THE PERFECT MAN." (However, this did not make the final cut). Soon after worked a total of 40 days on the set of Ron Howard's "CINDERELLA MAN" down @ Maple Leaf Gardens, Toronto. Did not make the final cut on this one either but did make the film's movie poster. (Posted above) Since then, has made the final cut on various TV/ film productions being shot in the Toronto area, the two most noteworthy being in George A. Romero's "LAND OF THE DEAD," where he's chased by Zombies three quarters into the film, it stars Dennis Hopper and as a gambler on the ESPN mini-series "TILT" starring Michael Madsen. As it turns out after being selected often on TV/ film sets and assigned to do specific things on camera Rick decided it would be a good idea to pursue an acting career, packed up his bags and moved to Toronto on Boxing Day, December 26th, 2008. Television: Landing a Featured role on the TV mini-series "THE KENNEDY'S" directed by John Cassar ("24", "Mutant X") as a 1960s Chicago Gangster and Sam Giancana's Goon. It stars Greg Kinnear, Barry Pepper, Katie Holmes and Tom Wilkinson.  Winner of 4 Primetime Emmys (Nominated for 10 in total) Nominated for 12 other awards including 1 Gemini & 1 Monte Carlo TV Festival, Winner of 3 other awards Also appears on TEN different episodes of EIGHT TV Docu Dramas, the first of which airs on National Geographic International called UNDERWORLD HISTORIES III: BROOKLYN as The Russian/ Jewish Mafia boss, Marat Balagula, often referred to as "The Russian Tony Soprano." The second one airs on A&E's Biography and is called GHOSTLY ENCOUNTERS. It examines supernatural phenomenon through the eyes of the people who claim to have witnessed otherworldly events. The third one airs on the Discovery Network and is called BREAK OUT, where Rick plays a Prison Inmate/ Escapee. Rick worked a total of 3 days on this set in a very intense prison riot fight scene where he performed his own stunts. The fourth one airs on the Discovery Network and is called, INVENTIONS THAT SHOOK THE WORLD. Rick plays a Supporting role, a Mining Boss and Boss of the walkie talkie inventor. The fifth one airs on Discovery and History channel plus FX in the U.K. and is called, URBAN LEGENDS. In the sixth, seventh and eighth Rick plays a Biker on 3 different episodes of the History channel's OUTLAW BIKERS IV. Outlaw Bikers chronicles the rise and fall of the Hell's Angels Motorcycle Club in Canada. Rick also cast as a tough Florida Cop in a couple of Interrogation room scenes for I DIDN'T DO IT, which airs on Investigative Discovery (U.S.) and Narrated by Chris Noth. Soon thereafter helped them out with the development of another game show called, "INSIDE THE BOX" which airs on TV Tropolis. Helped them out with game testing and final presentation of it for the folks of Prime Network in a studio down at the Rogers Centre. In 2011 Rick also participated and won some money on a brand new game show that airs on the Food Network called "ICE COLD CASH!" Voice over - Rick is currently doing voice over as a Reporter/ photographer on his first Animated Feature called "DIZZLER," produced by Amy Lockhart of Amethyst Tinleg Productions and as an Air Traffic Control Operator in a short film called "WATER LANDING."
