Hello and welcome to RICKCORDEIRO.COM. I am a Non Union, Free Agent, Professional Actor. Originally from Hamilton, Ontario, now working and residing in Toronto, Canada. I've worked on AWARD-WINNING Films, TV Series, Web Series & a TV Commercial PLUS, carved a niche for myself playing gangsters and Mob Bosses. I am "The Al Capone of Toronto!" I am also one of the Busiest working Actors in Toronto.
Worked on TV/ Film sets 500+ times. Versatile Actor, All genres; Comedy, Drama, Horror & Sci Fi...Play multiple characters on SIX...Cast recently to play 1960s Chicago Gangster, (Sam Giancana's goon), 8-part TV mini-series, "THE KENNEDY'S" which aired on History channel. (http://rickcordeiro.com/kennedys.cfm) starring Greg Kinnear, Barry Pepper, Katie Holmes and Tom Wilkinson...Also played a prison inmate on the Dark Comedy "THE GREAT CHAMELEON" starring Robert Davi, Stacy Keach & Nick Mancuso...a 1920s New York Radio Host on the Crime/ Drama "BURNING DAYLIGHT" which aired on SUPERchannel (recently picked up by NETFLIX), starring Robert Knepper & Paul Calderon....a Hired Gun on the TV Docu Drama "NOTHING PERSONAL: MURDER FOR HIRE" airing on Investigation Discovery and hosted by Steve Schirripa of "The Sopranos"....as a tough Florida Cop in a couple of Interrogation room scenes for "I DIDN'T DO IT", which airs on Investigative Discovery (U.S.) and Narrated by Chris Noth....and Crime/ Drama Feature, "WE RUN THESE STREETS" as one of the Leads, Ponzo, a Gangster who runs a Strip club, featuring Louie Rankin...the Crime/ Thriller, "LUNATIC" as Mayor John Dunkle starring Jeremy London...the Drama/Thriller, "TWISTED PIECES" as a human tattoo collector.
In other TV/ Film projects played a Sentry named Ben Craven on the Dark Horror, "THE COLLAPSED"...a Satanic Priest/ Cult Leader in the Blood-soaked Adventure Comedy "BLOOD RIDERS"...a Lebanese Restaurant owner on Bollywood Feature "SURKHAAB"...Police Chief Cordell in theSci-Fi/ Comedy "BIO COP"...as Vinny Cole, a Landlord in the Comedy Feature "B.A.D. MOVERS"...a Police Officer named Captain Roberts on the Superhero Trilogy "GRIM"...The Penguin on the TORONTO BATMAN Web Series...and The Coal Miner in the Horror short "PROSPECTOR'S CURSE" (Credited as Associate Producer in that one as well.)
Also, participating on a brand new game show that airs on the FOOD Network called "ICE COLD CASH!" Plus recently worked on Commercials for PIZZA PIZZA advertising their new iPhone application for ordering pizza... ROGERS- WIRELESS COMMUNICATIONS PLUS as a Police Negotiator..for CINEPLEX THEATRES, as an Angry fan, (screening @ TIFF before films, also features David Cronenberg) and for "HOME SERVICE CLUB" as a Home Handy Man which is airing across Canada on the Big Screen @ CINEPLEX THEATRES plus various TV stations across Canada...as well cast as a Car Thief for a Web Commercial for GLOBAL i as a mobile application user for POST MEDIA NETWORK and as a Beaver running for Prime Minister of Canada for CANADA.COM
Also appeared on a NAKED NEWS UNCOVERED (DOCUMENTARY) as a Focus group participant. Airing on SUPERChannel Spring 2013.
